Cotton Yarn for Public Enemies
In early 2008 we were contacted by a movie production company in Chicago who were in the process of recreating a 1930's prison shirtmaking factory. They were looking for cones of white yarn for background scenes and for props in the movie. We ended up winding hundreds of cones of our 2/16 Cotton yarn to their specifications for the movie which had to be rush shipped down to their set.
The movie turned out to be this summer's blockbuster PUBLIC ENEMIES with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale about the pursuit of bank robbers John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during the Great Depression. Our cones of yarn made it into the beginning scenes where they played an important role and even got a great close up!
It's a great movie and in the theatres now so go see it!
