Camilla Valley Farm Weavers' Supply provides a selection of Cotton Chenille yarn in a rainbow of 24 brilliant colours for any weaving or knitting project. The yarn weight is 900 yards per pound and the Weaving Sett is 5-6 epi for Tabby weave or 8-10 epi for Twill. The yarn comes in 1/2 lb (227g) cones and pricing and quantity discounts are shown below.
Cotton Chenille can be used to make wonderful towels, bathrobes, soft sweaters and bathmats. Knitters will find it has a gauge of 4.5 inches when knit of Size 7 needles.
Note that we also carry Rayon Chenille in a selection of colours as well. Our Unmercerized Cotton Yarn and Mercerized Cotton Yarn works well as warp thread in weaving projects where Cotton Chenille is used as the weft.
