This is a Aran weight 100% Merino Superwash Wool from Mission Falls, in 36 earthy colours. Like the 1824 Cotton it knits up 18 stitches and 24 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) using 5.0mm needles (US size 8). The yarn comes in 50 gram (1.76 ounce) balls with a yardage of 85 yards (78 metres) per ball.

The yarn comes in 50 gram (1.76 ounce) balls with a yardage of 85 yards (78 metres) per ball.

Mission Falls 1824 Whirl Cotton

These patterned yarns use the same palette of colours used by 1824 Cotton so they can be used on their own or with the solid colours to create unique effects. Like the solid colours, these are an Aran weight 100% Machine Washable Cotton yarn that knits up 18 stitches and 24 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) using 4.5mm needles (US size 7). The yarn comes in 50 gram (1.76 ounce) balls with a yardage of 85 yards (78 metres) per ball.
